Novotel Hamburg Central Station

Brand new hotel, opened the day we arrived which we wasn’t aware of when booking. Very central and close to Hamburg Central Station and town.

Really well situated close to the railway station.its behind the media/decathlon building. The room was exceptional, clean and extremely comfortable beds. Had a really powerful shower. Also a large flatscreen and coffee making machine. Used the bar downstairs, nice beer £6 each I think. The gym is small but compact, which I used once for a pre run workout. The hotel was a close walk to the underground and bus station also. Bruna at reception made some nice suggestions for exploring this vibrant German city, which I will come back to visit. Overall a great hotel and I highly recommend it. I found the staff helpful and corteous , from the cleaners to the night staff.

The location is amazing. Walking distance from the central station.

The location is very close to the central train station and the famous Mönckebergstrasse. There is a U-bahn station in front of it where you can transfer. However, you can also walk to places like Rathaus, Speicherstadt, etc. very easily.
